TN Restaurant Reviews & Comments:
What a Disaster!
by Mary Beth on February 15th, 2009 on Flatiron Grille |

My husband and I had been to the Flatiron Grille several times in the past and had experienced above-average food, decent service, and a pleasant atmosphere, particularly for Jackson. We were eager to eat there on Valentine's Day and had arranged for a babysitter for the evening. In the week leading up to Valentine's Day, I contacted the Flatiron Grille twice, once on the phone and once in person, to inquire about reservations. Both times I was told that the restaurant wasn't taking reservations but was taking call ahead seating. At 6:00 on Valentine's Day evening, I called ahead. The woman who answered the phone stated that the wait was two hours, which coincided perfectly with my babysitter's arrival time, so I asked to have my name put on the list. She said that the manager had just told her that they were no longer taking call ahead seating. So there I was. Valentine's night, babysitter arrangements made, and no place to go. Thankfully, we found a restaurant that had some seating available, but I will no longer be patronizing the Flatiron Grille since the *****, ***** ******, obviously has no integrity at all. |

| Enjoyed the food at Phil's. Went for a quiet dinner with hubby, but server sat down at our table and wouldn't leave. Too personal for me. |
Nasty Food!
by John Tanner on February 5th, 2009 on Sassafraz Restaurant |
| The food i ate here was very uninspiring. It was very nasty. I would 100% recommend the White House Restaurant over Sassafraz. |

All dishes for my daughters wedding were made fresh and prepared from scratch. I travel alot and eat alot of frozen, reheated, and served type catering foods. You won't find this with First Fruits Catering Company. Reccomend this company for any type of catering! |

| I have found a new coffeehouse in Cookeville, prices are better (cheaper) than starbucks and coffee is better, friendly staff and music is not so loud you cannot talk. A great coffee experience for anyone just wanting a great cup at a good price....... |

by john on January 31st, 2009 on Mancino's Pizza & Grinders |
| You get a ton of food! Mancino's has the best grinders and pizza. If your looking for lasagna this is the place, it's made from scratch. |
