SC Restaurant Reviews & Comments:
A Soda Fountain from My Childhood
by LeeFan on June 5th, 2008 on Lee's Inlet Apothecary & Soda |
| What a great Place! It is like stepping back in time to the 50's or 60's. You can get all those drinks you can't seem to get anymore, like egg creams, phosphates limeades, lemonade and orangeade (all fresh-squeezed), plus they make the most divine milk shakes with REAL locally made ice cream. They also serve sundaes and banana splits and other treats. They serve lunch with the best chicken salad (freshly made each day) sandwiches anywhere. You have to try it out! Local characters abound. |

In less expensive South Carolina restaurants customers usually wear casual clothing, while levels of dress attire usually increase as the best restaurant menu prices increase.

Restaurants selling indigenous food are typically called restaurants, while restaurants selling food of foreign origin are referenced by the cuisine type. Popular local SC cuisines are French, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Seafood, Indian, and Japanese.
