Warning about caterer
by SHDA on July 11th, 2009 |
| Even though this caterer was not on my list of preferred caterers, I allowed them to come into my venue with the promise that they would take care of my space. Victor assured me that he had been in business many years and that he would leave the space as he found it. In the morning, I found the place completely trashed (i.e. - food everywhere, empty bottles, dirty dishes, tables, linens, EVERYTHING) There was NO bartender at the bar during the event, which made for a free-for-all at a 150 person wedding. He was also aware that there was a wedding booked at my venue the next morning. To top it off, he left the doors not only unlocked, even though I gave him the keys, but WIDE OPEN. As a facility owner, I highly recommend thinking twice before allowing him to come into your venue. |
