| I don't normally write negative reviews. Any restaurant can have an off night. But this was hands down one of the worst meals I have ever had. I had some early misgivings when we walked into an empty restaurant, just a half-block away from the always overflowing Sole Proprietor, Boynton, and Sahara. The ambiance was laughable, just a bunch of tv's. But as we had a restaurant.com gift certificate, we decided to give it a try. Absolutely everything we ordered was a disappointment. Fried mac & cheese was overcooked, and came to the table a crusty, unattractive dark brown color, obviously overdone. My shrimp avocado salad, supposedly served in an avocado shell, came drowned in a tasteless creamy dressing, apparently to hide the lack of avocado. Were they out of avocados? I should have been told. I'd have preferred to order something else. Our main courses, pasta and surf and turf, were bland, tough (steak), and undercooked (shrimp). Even the plain cheese pizza that we took home for the kids was burned and inedible. It went right into the trash. With a glass of wine and cola, the bill came to $80. A pricey dump. This place is unacceptable, especially on a street where you can get great food and ambiance just a few feet away. |
why do people eat anywhere else?
by h.n.i.c on February 10th, 2009 on Pizza Boy |
| why is this food like crack? because you cant stop. no matter how hard you try! girlfriend begging you to stop? just sneek out the window, and grab some more roast beef. family gathering in small circles in secret rooms, sobbing over what you've become: ditch them at the door, and run to pizza boy to shove some more freshly breaded chicken down your gullet! nobody goes into cold sweats and tremors over marc anthonys. but pizza boy will have you stealing your grandmothers purse just to buy one more sub!!!! just one more and i'll be cool. i'll stop this shaking once i taste those homemade onion rings, that fresh, crisp salad with feta; those dreamboat triangular slices of heavenly sent pizza made from god himself!!!!! ( i think he might actually be irish, about five foot eight, baseball cap always backwards, smiling like the cheshire cat from behind the oven!) anyway, i've lost my train of thought.......... IF YOU EAT ANYWHERE ELSE IN WAREHAM, YOU ARE DOING YOUR TASTE BUDS A DISSERVICE. now i have to go to food rehab, but soon as i finish this class, and listen to some speeches of hope, and empowerment; ill be back off the wagon, and once again shoving this delicious dream food into my expressway of joy. who cares if im addicted, i'm in love with pizzaboy; its better than crack!!!!!!!!!!!!! maybe.......... |

if you wanna get sick eat here
by niki on February 7th, 2009 on Fresh Catch Restaurant & Sushi Bar |
| So I was a great customer of theirs, until I got sick and went to the hospital, and when I called to tell them they offered me a 50.00 gift card, umm yeah like i really wanna eat at the place who gave me an intestinal infection who i had to pay for the hospital and medication for. Hell no never again I absolutely do not recommend it. The manager was the rudest person I have ever spoken to. He told me that he works with the board of health and that i can go to them, so does that imply that he pays them off? Umm hello I am in the food business i know how things go and let me just say that guy was a complete ***! |

Avoid Vivians
by Dinner Dog on January 24th, 2009 on Vivian's Market Style Cafe |
| Waited for over 1 hour for food that takes about 10 minutes to cook. Had to switch the order to take out so I stood at the counter while they cooked. It appears the staff works on one order at a time...as in customer 1 orders a burger, they cook it then begin to cook customer 2's burger. The food is not worth the wait, prices are good but you are better off ANYWHERE else |

fabulous
by chip2fb94 on January 16th, 2009 on Imperial Buffet |
| Abosolutly the best value in the area. The buffet is stocked w/seafood and the items are rotated and changed on a daily basis so I never get bored. The sushi is high grade and extremely reasonable for the quality. It all adds up(for me) to be a great value. On top of that, the mgmnt. and waitstaff are friendly and energetic and make everyone feel like part of their family. |
