omg! are you kidding me this place is a disaster!!!! first of all its supposed to be a 5 star hahaha restaurant. which is decorated entirely too tacky...like a cheap interior designer copied a doll house! 2nd of all i know a guy that works in the kitchen and i found out FOR A FACT, TALAPIA IS WHAT THEY SERVE ANY AND EVERYTIME YOU ORDER "THE RED SNAPPER OXBOW" OR WHEN YOU ORDER "STUFFED DRUM"!!!!!! can you believe what they charge for freaking talapia!!!! the management is very poor. fighting happens in the kitchen all the time. when i am forced to dine there with either my husband or business i always hear the owner yelling, screaming and cussing in the kitchen. the management has yelled and cursed at staff and our server told us that he has been there for awhile and that the constant fighting is just the norm! how tacky is that? the portions are small the prices are high and there is always drama there! my waiter also apologized to me when i ordered a grey goose martini that burned my throat so bad i had to order another, he informed me that ALL THE VODKA IS ARISTOCAT!@!!!!!!! AND I JUST PAID 7 BUCKS FOR A SHOT OF THE CHEAPEAST VODKA U CAN BUY!!!! I hate this place and wish it would completely shut down! if you want to eat out at a nice place go to baton rouge!!!! its worth it and they dont even have bread , crackers, or steak sauce ! i am fed up with this place!

Best breakfast in metairie.I have been going there over twenty years & cannot remember ever having a single complaint. All their food is the highest quality money can buy. Their prices are way less than anywhere else, and most important, all the food is always fresh Dont think I could live without their coffee!!!

Louisiana Restaurant Information

Restaurants range from unpretentious lunch and dining places to expensive establishments serving refined food and spirits in formal settings. In less expensive Louisiana restaurants customers usually wear casual clothing, while levels of dress attire usually increase as the best restaurant menu prices increase.

Restaurants often specialize in one or two types of cuisines. For example, there are ethnic restaurants, vegetarian restaurants or steak restaurants. Restaurants selling indigenous food are typically called restaurants, while restaurants selling food of foreign origin are referenced by the cuisine type. Popular local LA cuisines are French, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Seafood, Indian, and Japanese.
