IL Restaurant Reviews & Comments:
Slaw 'n Tenderloin
by CardinalsFan on April 2nd, 2009 on Lanuti's |
| Ordered the slaw and tasted the thick handpounded pork tenderloin with Lanuti's famous chicken batter. After a day of fishing, evening never tasted so good. The bartenders wear ties and make great drinks. Very old fashioned, but in a good way and well maintained. |
Great Place for Seniors
by Joseph of Chicago on March 22nd, 2009 on Denny's |
| We Love Our Denny's as we are Seniors and live in a Senior Community near this Denny's. They offer a great Senior Program as we never have to pay for the beverage and the 7th time we use our Senior Card we get our meal for free. As we eat 4 or 5 times a week at this Denny's we manage to same over $200 per month in our dining out. The food is always great and if it's not prepared the way I expected they will cheerfully replace it. |
The best in Forest Park

| They got the best pizza and beer nuggets! |
Best BBQ Ever!!!
by Maureen on February 20th, 2009 on Bill's BBQ |
| You will never find it better anywhere! Since I was a kid we have went here when ever we went to visit realitives in the Metropolis IL area. I crave this place all the time, and the secret sauce is to die for. It is mild, until you add more then it gets a bit hot, and the pork has not fat on it. It is tender and Moist. Okay must stop before I get hungry. Just try it for your self, and did I mention it is cheap! |
Not worth it- far from the original
by Daddy O on February 18th, 2009 on Vito & Nick II |
| Very, very, very slooooow and poor service, people were pissed off waiting upto 1 1/2hrs for a thin crust pizza, over priced for a simple pizza joint, but they have to pay those franchise fees. Not the same za as south side Chicago don't be fooled. Pizza tasted a bit like burnt plastic. Lunch buffet must be the left overs for the night before-yuck! Don't trust their online menu. |
Authentic and Flavorful
by Roger on February 14th, 2009 on India's Oven |
| India's Oven embraces the flavors of Indian food. Most Indian restaurants attempt to dull their food for the American palate, but India's Oven provides the full, authentic flavor of Indian food. Don't confuse flavor for spicy hot, although the Vindaloo pulls no punches. One of their wonderful Tikka Masala dishes is perfect for anyone who loves flavor but doesn't want to set their mouths afire. |
Awesome
by mom of 3 on February 11th, 2009 on Miritello's Pizza & Catering |
| We went in for pizza and I have to say it was the best pizza I have had. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and mentioned that they are opening a place in frankfort soon. |
Turtle is a Treat
by Seafoodlover on February 9th, 2009 on Lanuti's |
| If you love turtle you know that Lanuti's serves up the tastiest. If you haven't yet tasted turtle, take a ride to downtown Ladd, Illinois, and look for the bright green neon TURTLE sign. It hangs right below the bright white neon SCHLITZ sign in the front window. Of course the Haddock is delicious, but less rare than turtle. Over the years we have learned love the shrimp and scallops as well. Ice cream drinks like a Gold Cadillac or Briarpatch to finish the meal and you are set. Take your time in this bit of history, as the experience is worth trip. |
