Worst food ever
by David on February 9th, 2009 on Bart's Drive in |
| PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I got food poisoning the last time I went there to have a hot dog and hamburger. The service was also terrible. The employees there were handling the food with bare hands and then they were handling the money at the cashier. Absolutely repulsive. I would rather eat at Burger King. |

Great family dining
by Julie on January 25th, 2009 on John's Best Pizza & Restaurant |
| Great restaurant for families and they deliver too. Never had a meal that I didn't like. They will often let you change the way a dish is made to suit your taste. This place has been open for more than 40 years, it's a Westport landmark |
Burned pie and bad attitude
by John on January 17th, 2009 on Julian's Brick Oven Pizza LLC |
| Got a pizza at Julian's 2 nights ago. Overcooked toppings, burned crust- basically inedible. Took it back, kid on duty picked up an edge and said "It's not ALL burned." Owner wasn't interested because I brought it back the next morning. Many good pizza restaurants in Monroe- try them instead. |
Love Every Single Thing They Make!
by avr on January 7th, 2009 on Savory Thymes Cafe & Catering |
| After my first visit a few years ago I woke up every morning craving the Southwestern Panini. It's still a favorite along with the hearty homemade soups, salads and dinners to go! Love the food and the owners a nice person too. |
Poor Service, Bad Food
by Iron fossil on January 6th, 2009 on Wandering Moose Cafe & Catering Company |
| I was sick for a week after eating at the Moose. Rancid smelling. Toilets are in the dining room. Service is horrible. Food is worse. Keep your health-stay away. |
Avoid this place!!!! They are rude
by DMS on December 23rd, 2008 on Salerno Import & Deli |
|
I had lunch with my 4 year old son. I was served a cold chicken parm sandwich. I asked that it be heated and 25 minutes later it was served to me burnt and dried out. I returned the sandwich only to be told I was being rude and I should have asked for the sandwich to be served warm. For an italian restaurant, you would think that they would know that chicken parm sandwiches are always served warm. Serving bad food with slow service was only capped off with rudeness in front of my son. This was my fourth time at this restaurant with the new ownership and the food / service were horrible at each visit. Avoid this place if you can as there are plenty of good italian restaurants in Torrington. |
