DO NOT EAT HERE

First i want to begin by saying that it wasn't the food that made our experience at leatherby's very disappointing. It was the service.
We've tried time and time again to let leatherby's redeem themselves, but they fail every time.
We were there for over an hour waiting for our food. A very large family was dining in, they had come in AFTER us. But they were obviously their top priority. We asked our waitress why they were getting their food before us and she said "well they're the owners."
I was surprised, and felt like our business meant nothing to these people.
Their food is ok. And their ice cream is pretty good. It used to be worth it to go just for the money you were saving, but i noticed they raised their prices.
Now we feel like we might as well go to cold stone or baskin robbins. At least there we'll be treated with some decency.

CATERING NIGHTMARE

Catering Nightmare!!!!
By Lorraine D.
I had been highly recommended to Anita for her great food and service. I paid her in full before the occasion which was not a problem. She showed up late to the occasion and the food was horrible. I realize that in the contract there can be substitutions but my parents really wanted a certain kind of food and if she couldn't provide it then she should have let me know. Needless to say she claims she spoke with me regarding the food substitution stating that she was having trouble getting the product from her distributor. I never received such a call. In the beginning before I signed the contract with her I told her if there was a problem to let me know I could get the product. Not only that, the food was just horrible she was there for two hours and when she left she took all the drinks with her. The other reason I selected Antia was because she lived within a couple miles of the facility I rented and I just don't understand why she could not have left the drinks for one more hour and come back after our party was over. If I needed a bartender she could have suggested it and that would not have been a problem. I paid her $26.50 per person and $13.25 for children under 6. Come on she definitely was paid for her services. It is not about the money I just don't want someone else to have the same experience we had with her so that is why I am writing this review. You live and learn. What a terrible first catering experience!

Horrible All Around!!
By Michelle H.
Celebrating 50yrs of marriage. How do I begin? Anita was not very friendly at all! She was asked how she was doing and she responded "better if I had not gone out last night". That's professional. It felt as though we were inconveniencing her....reminder, that's what she was getting paid for. The menu(buffet style) was supposed to consist of: Virginia salted ham and biscuits, fried chicken, chicken salad sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, salad, fruit crackers and cheese. My family payed almost $2000 for horrible food. She charged $26.50 per person for this menu. We requested Virginia ham and biscuits...we received dry(not edible) biscuits with deli meat. Roast beef sandwiches which also tasted like deli meat. Macaroni and cheese that tasted as though we were in a cafeteria and chicken nuggets for the children that were shaped like dinosaurs. I don't think any of the food was actually prepared by her. She stayed for 2 hrs and when she was ready to leave she took everything with her, including coffee, tea, punch and even the cups. We had to go to Walmart and buy serving items to supply our guests with drinks after she left. We also had to purchase containers to take the remaining food home(to make my grandparents feel as though we weren't wasting). My grandparents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. We had guests there who have not seen my grandparents in years. How disappointing to invite friends and family for a celebration and experience such horrible catering. I will never recommend this company and I will make sure everyone knows how disgusting the food is and how unprofessional she is!!

the service was horrible and the "cute" waitress should be fired for hitting on attached men. She knew I was involved with someone for several years, due to she asked, and continued to hit on me. My girlfriend would have been so upset. I think it was very inappropriate and not a good reflection upon the restaurant and the owner.

This restaurant has a unique atmosphere where dining is a pleasure; it's comfortable and the food is great. The new addition, called TIN PAN ALLEY, is something reminiscent of larger metropolitan area restaurants. What's really a treat is the fare....dining here doesn't break the bank. Service is wonderful and the waitpersons are friendly, efficient and attentive.

I have eaten in many places, abroad and local and national, I do not expect too much from all these places but this place surly deserves 5 star full.
The food is delicious and fresh, not a lot of greasy taste just hit the taste buds with freshness and unique taste. I had Capallini and salad. I'll never forget how relaxing and enjoyable was the experience.
I recommend this place for real food eaters, not a fast food, no way.

Restaurants range from unpretentious lunch and dining places to expensive establishments serving refined food and spirits in formal settings. In less expensive restaurants customers usually wear casual clothing, while levels of dress attire usually increase as the best restaurant menu prices increase.
Restaurants often specialize in one or two types of cuisines. For example, there are ethnic restaurants, vegetarian restaurants or steak restaurants. Restaurants selling indigenous food are typically called restaurants, while restaurants selling food of foreign origin are referenced by the cuisine type. Popular local cuisines are French, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Seafood, Indian, and Japanese.
If there is one thing to be learned in reviewing restaurants, is that not all units have the same people. This is what we learned when my husband and I went to Javier's Mexican Restaurant in the Irvine Spectrum in Irvine, CA. There is another, very fine Javier in Laguna Beach. Nobody seems to mind the hard time they have finding a parking space when enjoying a night there. But the brother in th...
